XM glass model wanted!

I have just broken mine - sob, sob - and I just wondered if anyone out there happens to have a spare!

In exchange I can either offer cash, or a swap with a large Solido XM or 605 sv24 model. The XM comes with a nice box and the 605 is especially rare!

How badly broken? Adhesives out there for repairing glass exist, which have a refractive index as close to glass as possible.

I'd happily give it a shot if you wanted.
Current fleet:

Many thanks for your response and kind offer but unfortunately the model was in about ten pieces and due to my distress went straight in the bin! Someone else has suggested making a mould and casting from resin but I would need another complete model. With regards, Matthew T.

Matthew, that's such a shame :( I can fully understand your grief...

If nobody else comes forward...

I have one and would be happy to allow it to be used as a mould and I may even be persuaded to let it in exchange for the 605 model.. that would look lovely in my collection...

If you want to go down that road, let me know on here and we can get in touch outside the forum... I can send you a PM with my email address in it and we can take it from there...

Hi Jim,

It was very kind of you to respond to my enquiry/ tale of woe and could you really be persuaded to swap your glass model for the 605!! If you do not have an XM that is also pretty nice and also comes with a rather handsome box. I made the mistake with my glass XM of putting it out on display to gather dust, rather than safely storing away - a lesson hard learnt!
