Forum maintenance Thursday 18/10/2017 -Completed

Following our recent technical issues, the forum is moving to a new VPS server. The software has been installed and (subject to a little more testing) is ready to go.

To move the site it needs to be taken off-line for a period of 1 - 2 hours, to allow a backup and restore cycle and to allow the updated DNS record to propagate.

I intend to do this some time tomorrow, either in the early morning, or a little later in the day if any issues are discovered between now and then.

The forum has now been moved to is new server and should generally be running well.

Please report here any problems that you encounter.

The Forum does appear to be running much better now.

Perhaps it might be a good time to remind people that this forum is funded by sticker sales and donations, and the move to a new server might be a good excuse to exercise the buttons in the forum header.

Good idea :)

For the record, sticker orders come through to me and I always try to despatch them return of post... They are really lovely things and worth having...

Which reminds me... I must make a new donation as I need a set of stickers for my new Saxo ;)
