C5 1.6 hdi 06 miracle car.

Had a common engine light fault come up, for anti pollution fault.
Car stuttered with low power for about a second, then continued as normal but with the engine light on and a warning sound and message on restarting.
I've had this a few times and cleared it with my diagnostic tool. I decided to leave it the other day and the engine light turned off on its own and no issues so far.
Anyone had anything like this ?
The car drives lovely, although it can be a bit lumpy in lower revs.

What is the actual fault code? That should give you a starting point. Clearing it won't do anything if the fault is still there.

EGR valve sticking often gives those sort of symptoms...

How many miles has the car done?

Car has covered 80k and has had a long run of dpf intake, egr and injection cleaning, only issue it has is it lurches slightly at tickover speed in traffic, almost like a minor misfire.
The fault code has been mentioned on here, can't remember it as it takes a while for it to reoccur, it was for over boost anti pollution fault warning.
I'll have a look at the stored codes to see if its there and post it here.

I've noticed that since not using any fuel additive, it does not have any error codes come up ?
It has a small misting of fuel from one of the top of an injector, nearest to the battery ?
Plan is to have a new clutch and dmf and front brakes at the same time.
Next will be replacing the seals on the injector.
