Hello there my name is Mikael, just going to introduce my self a bit
I´m a Swedish Citroën fan who currently owns a mk1 C5.
I´ve been interested in cars since I was very little, and after my dad bought a brand new C5 II Break in 2007 i´s been mostly Citroëns.
My first car was a Rover 620 which I got when I was 14, that car made me fall in love with leather upholstery, wood trim aaand british cars besides French ones.
Since that car a few have passed my ownership, including a Citroen ZX and C5 II.
Right now I'm studying automotive engineering in Luleå, pretty far "up north". I'm also a car mechanic, and I did most of my apprenticeship at a Citroën dealer. I´ve also been working at a Citroën dealer for a few summers.
So I know a decent amount about modern Citroëns i´ll be helping and sharing my knowledge on the forum when I can.
Ehh, what more? Oh, I quite like british stuff Doctor Who, The old good TopGear (with Quentin Wilson and Tiff Needell ), Tea ´n biscuits plus various AustinRover/Rover products....
My dream car is a series 1 XM 24V (Or a Rover SD1 Vitesse)
That's it for now I guess..
Hello everyone

As well as here, keep an eye on a sister site, club-xm.co.uk. Well-maintained XMs of all types come up for sale there, often before appearing on Ebay, etc.

Re: Hello everyone
Hello everyone I am a retired cabinetmaker and joiner I have had my Berlngo van for 11years of all the vehicles we have owned this is my favourite it's never let me down till now . Unfortunately the heater matrix has a bad leak I've been looking for information and hope I found the font of French automobile knowledge. As it not economical to have a garage do the repair I am going to do it myself .
I am not an experienced DIY mechanic have done brakes radiator change an that kind of thing I am going to post a topic on replacing the matrix ,and hope all you clever people will be able to give me advice and encouragement. Thanks in advance .

Re: Hello everyone
Welcome Fagus
I hope we are able to provide the guidance you need.
Loads of info on the Xantia heater matrix replacement but not so much on the Berlingo although there have been a couple IIRX.
As a stop-gap you might try some Forte Cooling System Stop Leak which has been successful for quite a few but don't be tempted to use Radweld or Barrs as they have been seen to clog small waterways and throw down a sediment.
