Installing a Bluetooth System in a Renault Clio

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anybody here could help me, maybe you have some experience in this area.

My wife is insisting that I get her old Clio hooked up with a Bluetooth system so that she can listen to music from her phone wirelessly in the car.

I don't really want to rush into having it done at a garage just in case there is a cheaper and easy way for me to do it myself. If anybody here has any experience with this or knows of a good, cheap & easy way to get it sorted, I'd love to hear it, it'd be greatly appreciated as otherwise I'll have to take it into the garage and I know that's not going to be too cheap.

I think we're a bit lacking in Renault systems generally here Brad - as I'm sure you can see - the vast majority of content here has been ported over from the Peugeot / Citroen section. I still need to go through a lot of it as time allows. I am trying to develop the telematics section - and there is a way to go yet.

What you may well find is that there are third party add-ons that you can attach via a CD changer port to you head unit that may give some control. Other systems can utilise an FM channel to link the unit to the Head unit. Maybe checking on one of the dedicated Renault forums may help with this specific issue.
