I'm now thinking of a name for the Saxo but it'll likely wait until I get to know her a bit...

I really hope you dont get any hassle trying to sell the activa this time Jim. And that when sold its to someone who understands that its an old car, and it will break and need repairs at some point, whether thats a week later or a year later.
Absolutely Davie!
It's only on offer to a true and known enthusiast who will give it a good home.
All the love for my Activa has gone and every time I look at it I wince and feel upset and hurt after what happened so on that basis it must go and be out of my sight as soon as possible. I know the love will never come back now... In fact it's now turned to hate
Also, I'm now no longer able to drive such a large car and enjoy the Activa bits - driving it at 45mph is not really what it was made for
If nobody wants the car it'll be scrapped... End of. I mean it. In fact it's my preferred option for a simple, quick and easy conclusion to the debacle.
The Saxo is a much better fit for me nowadays... I will give her lots of love and TLC and give her an excellent home
