..Glenn Close as high profile lawyer drives a Peugeot 505 Station Wagon throughout the movie Jagged Edge....nice turn of speed out of the roof top car park!

Anyone know of a documentary featuring a couple having a picnic in a Renault 4 in the countryside? It used to be shown a lot on BBC2 in the 60's/70's I would love to see it again

I like a challenge but the best I can find of a Renault 4 being featured on TV with a couple heavily featured is this French TV Series "Les Saintes Chéries" which featured a Renault 4 Parisienne as the family car.

Youtube has plenty of vids on it inclluding this. Probably not what you are after, but can't think of a documentary regularly showing on BBC2 of a couple having a picnic in a renault 4!

Hello Neil,
Many thanks for the clip which I really enjoyed. All I can remember is the woman had short dark hair and a chequered picnic blanket on which they laid the picnic on oh and of course the car

Youtube isn't the only game in town, particularly if you are looking for "French" content.

Dailymotion often comes up with the goods.

So hear is the Renault Caravelle's starring moment up to now from "Le ceil, le soleil et la mer"

No nice embedding tool though so its onerous "click on a link" time, and 42 seconds of wait before La Caravelle blanc appears for the first time!

I may be wrong as the image isn't great and is only visible for a short time but I am convinced that this is a GS at 0'18"

Today's episode of "Antiques Road Trip" used one of my favourites

Its only done 600 miles in the last 5 years according to the MOT record. Guess they trailer it around on Antiques Road Trip and do selective bits of filming. It always says in the credits cars supplied by Great Escape Cars.

I was going through the "Hammer House of Horror" Box set the other day and in this clip from "The Thirteenth Reunion" episode, I saw a CX Ambulance! Only a brief appearance at the beginning so watch or you'll miss it!, and make sure you have the sound on! The reporter in the episode is also driving a Renault of some description (although at first glance I thought it was an old Ford Granada).

Anyway - I could not resist leaving a few more minutes of the clip, as the reporter is undercover at the "Think Thin" :rofl2: Centre. I know this is late '70s - but I suspect the 'shock therapy' tactics employed by a young James Cosmo (who recently appeared on the last Celebrity Big Brother) wouldn't get past the censors today!

Blade Runner 2049 has flying cars (as did the original Blade Runner). It appears that somehow Peugeot have managed to get themselves noticed!;

IMCDB identifies it as a Renault 18 Estate
