^ haha

I've been lucky enough to see the Airbus Beluga take off and land at pretty close quarters before, always found it amazing how it can actually fly in the first place and how slow it is still able to fly when landing!

They're making a bigger on now, too:

Someone at work claimed last week that a missile had passed over England, couldn't find any references to it anywhere though.
Perhaps it was a bit of Déjà vu

Couple of documentaties noted on the ON TV thread, including one tonight on BBC2 on Mars.

Picture of the day from NASA is one of beautiful symmetry of Saturn from Cassini which has spent the last 13 years investigating Saturn and its moons.

PS Joni Mitchells Lyrics from "Refuge of the Roads" always spring to mind when I come across images like this.

For me it is "Bad Night At The Whisky" - the guitar evokes images of a ship with solar sails drifting through the galaxies.

I have a mono LP with this on and it works even better in mono :)

Steve I put the link up tp the Joni Mitchell REfuge of the Roads at the precise time of the particular lyrics starting....In a highway service station, above the month of june was a pohotograph of the earth coming back from the moon...etc"

Is there a way of embeding a youtube video to start at a particular time? I just used the "[ url][ /url]" link to achieve this, as the time bit doesn't embed using [youtube][/youtube]

No, it won't embed if there is a start time specified Neil. I have tried it before and some combinations just don't work.
You don't even need the url tags though, it works without them

The Joni Mitchel track is superb, one of my personal favourites. Pipped only by "Amelia"

Those pumps are nicely "spaced out" Jim...its impossible to go off topic on POTD :-D

Do people still use that phrase, or is it a blast from the past?
