Hi experts who maybe able to help got a c5 2008 facelift version my passenger side bulb is too low but also noticed when the bulb is in its not stright its touching the ring around the bulb. The other headlight doesnt do this how do i sort this out?
Is it something to do with the white adjustment tab on the top?

If you suspect the headlight needs adjusting take it to a garage with the proper equipment to check the beam alignment. Most MOT places can check this for you. Trying to adjust it yourself may result in dazzling other drivers if you don’t have the alignment equipment. They should also be able to check the bulb is in correctly.

It sounds as though you have the wrong bulb or the bulb is incorrectly fitted.

The retaining clip can be forced on to an improperly seated bulb without too much problem (!) so I would undo the clip and see if you can seat the bulb properly. Then redo the clip.

Thanks il have a look its defo a h7 bulb, so its the right one it just not sitting right so going see if i can take it out and resit it

Take a couple of minutes to compare the positioning of the metal 'ring around the bulb' on the driver's and passenger's side. I think it's possible to inadvertently knock them out of position when fitting the bulbs. If it's bent then you can just about bend it back by sticking your finger or suitable implement in through the bulb' hole.
