ZX diesel power loss

My normally aspirated ZX diesel (90,000 miles) is being more than normally gutless, especially when towing. It has had a recent fuel and air filter change, is starting fine and not smoking.Any ideas anyone?

Inspect the throttle cabling. Does it get full throttle with pedal at bottom ?

Its been a busy week!
Finally had a chance to look at the throttle cable - travel is fine, so it must be something else. Possibly injectors? (emissions were fine at MOT three weeks ago)

Changed your brand of fuel lately? Try one of thoes fuel additives something like STP or millers do agood one.

Have a look at your floor mats! On ours it slips forward under the pedal and makes it even slower!
