Hi wheeler its up off its wheels at the moment but I tried using it and I cant hear the pump running I got my daughter to press buttons in both directions and and it doesn't move and I cant hear pump so I can definitley say no its not working now. it was working before the engine out but there was no comms with the suspension ecu at that stage either. Thanks for the reply by the way.

If the wheels are hanging, the ECU will think that the suspension's on 'high' already, so there's no need to run the pump. If you tell it to lower the suspension, it will open the valves to do so, but of course nothing else will happen.
IME, random lack of communication with various ECUs is pretty much par for the course with copy Lexias, and nothing to worry about in itself.

I wonder if a full BSi reset would help (or, potentially, hinder) the comms?

How are you doing Hell Razor long time no chat yeah I will give it a go it might work. The turbo I bought off ebay was over 30 days so no return  so now i am stuck with two duds.. I really want to put her back on the road but it just seems to be begging for retirement.

That is a shame. I wish you had put some pics up with engine out etc. What about trying a Chinese cartridge on a turbo?
Don't know what I would do if mine went. It is when you do so many other things to them that they are hard to scrap.

yep I will just try and source a different used turbo the chinese cartridges have a terrible reputation i am afraid to try one incase it destroys the engine I cant afford to buy a different banger so this car will have to learn to behave :) The engine has been out before and probably will again (hopefully not) I bought a bigger jack to raise her past the paunch to avoid removing engine in the future. I keep meaning to do wiki's for stuff I do but keep forgetting to take pics.
