I know but I want her to look her best Davie :) Not much I can do about the lacquer peel but otherwise she comes to you and the Chevrons as clean as possible ;)

Both inside and out :)

Im quite looking forward to the lacquer peel to be honest. It will save me having to polish her lol. I may experiment with wrapping her, a panel at a time. I have wrapped stuff before, so may start with wrapping the roof black. If its awful it can come off again, and if its good can then keep going a panel at a time and end up with a black xantia!

I've spent the day washing and waxing..... the car of course

Image

I've never really waxed a car properly before, I used Auto Glym super resin polish.

Although it would also be filthy by the time I drove to MK :(

Thanks.

Haha, have those 218,000 miles not been kind to your C5's bodywork?

Not in the slightest. I think it has been crashed and has had neglectful owners, including the current one

Tim, it'll be good to see you ;) I'll only be there on Sunday - I'm riding a bike all around the New Forest on Saturday :)

I rode through Little Horwood on my bike today...

I'm sad to see the Shoulder of Mutton has closed down :(

This pub, adjacent to the rally site, was well-known and loved by many rally-goers...
