I have the Manchester Concert on at this moment, and it is a beautiful, compassionate thing. I feel it is fair to say Manchester has taken Ariana Grande to their heart, and will probably make her an honorary Mancunian.

Well not exactly on TV, but seeing as the good old electric milk float made an appearance on the Electric Vehicles-What have you spotted thread? here's a clip from Pathe News on the subject of "Atomic Milk" which caught my attention....

Re: On TV...
Now for something completely different...
Few things on TV tend to be worse and more cringe-worthy than reboots of shows you were fans of > 10 years or so ago I've tended to find.
As a youngster two of the fairly sparse shows that weren't purely factual in nature that would hold my interest (the Open University stuff in the early hours of the morning on BBC2 would!) were the gameshows Blockbusters and The Crystal Maze. The former suffered a horrible reboot a couple of years ago. The latter has just been subject to a reboot as well, I just watched the first episode.
While it was a celebrity special so the nonsense associated with that has to be forgiven, I'm actually cautiously optimistic. It *felt* like the Crystal Maze...especially in that they have obviously gone to huge pains to carry over as much detail as possible. That applies to the actual set dressing, the graphics on screen and the nature of the handful of games we've seen so far. Presenter is someone I've not seen before, but I've not immediately turned my nose up at him (unlike the guy who replaced Richard O'Brien back in the 90s, who I never liked), so we'll see how he grows into the role.
Reserving judgement until I've seen a few episodes with real people rather than celebrities in front of the camera, but I'm optimistic.
Biggest thing which struck me though was that it didn't feel like another rehash of every other show out there, and that it actually held my attention while providing light entertainment for its duration.

Re: On TV...
On "Yesterday" (Freeview), starting on 25th July, there is a series called "Impossible Engineering". Amongst the excerpts were those of the Citroen DS.

Re: On TV...
Impossible Engineering seems an odd title for a programme, especially when the subject matter, the DS in this instance, is far from impossible as it exists and is proven

Re: On TV...
I think (but will not know until the series airs) that things were engineered that were (until that point) considered impossible to produce.
