I certainly wont have lilpug at her best, ive decided to do a full service on it before its used again, with all new plugs, plug leads, air and oil filters, oil, coolant, auto transmission fluid and brake fluid. It may well take a few weeks to get that all done, but I think she deserves all these jobs done after 24 years. If I recover I may let bigpug stretch her legs, but it is unlikely. This is not a crash I am in, which can improve dramatically at any time, but an injury which could take days or weeks or more. I will not be doing a 1000 mile round trip if I'm not in a condition to do it.

Sorry that you can't make it Davie. I'm planning to make the long trip down for the weekend. I think it could be a very good weekend, some from Pure Citroen planning to visit on the Sunday coming from their event at Donnington.

That will be good Bill, get some younger folk there. Most in Pure Citroen are younger, and into modding their cars a bit. A bit of diversity would be good.

I think it's great the clubs getting together, all Citroen enthusiasts in a variety of ways.

Whilst i'm not going the CCC Rally, i hope to go to the french car show on the saturday unless the weather is awful. What time does it start/open? I might go in my Activa to give it a good run down the A50.

Now if I'd got round to reading the CCC mag. Kevin gave me @ "Bristol" I would've (presumably) had rather more notice & planned around not going down to Devon this w/e, as it is I'm committed (some would say "not before time"); spent the week, on & off trying to work out how best to play this but, on balance, I think it's drive down tomorrow evening, doing what needs doing Saturday (e.g. taking the red Cherokee out to Princetown for breakfast, doing a bit more preparatory work to taking trans out of parts car - oh & some useful, boring stuff). Early start to come up to National via bootsale in Newton Abbot, back to London Sunday evening.

b-t-w, anyone been to Donnington? I went, ostensibly to that event, in 2025; turned up the drive, saw the security lodge/gatehouse, spun round & came home. Reminded me of pre-EU, Eastern European border crossings but probably more difficult to get through; must be the most unfriendly appearing, depressing venue I've ever come across!

'05 C15 :!:
'97 Xantia Exclusive estate [-o<
others:-
Jeep XJ Cherokees x 3 :?

& the numerous "abandoned projects" #-o

Due to illness I'm sadly very unlikely to attend the National tomorrow :(

I'm presently unable to drive
