That Berlingo looks like it has a modified building-site loo attached to it

Don't think this style of motorhome troubled any expensive Italian designers, on the interesting side of the interesting-awful continuum for me though :-D

When are caravans head turners? For me when they are of a similar vintage, towed by a classic vehicle, and some attempt made at a matching colour scheme. Saw a Traction Avant in red/burgundy in such a combination recently when on tour.

Here's a Rover P6 owned by the chaps behind retrocaravanclub.co.uk on tour in Cornwall.

Love that, the P6 in that shade of blue looks great and the 'van it's tugging looks like an early Sprite Alpine or even a Musketeer...

I do like things to be colour-coordinated...

Spotted a "Jennings Roadranger" Ford Transit Mark I today in Pateley Bridge today without my camera.

It was a nice two tone with a cream base. Like this,

Simon Cars have an interesting piece on Jennings Coachbuilders of Sandbach here http://www.simoncars.co.uk/coachwork/jennings.html They were also quite famous for their "woodies".

Can't imagine this shade of green is to everyone's taste, but the rig is definitely colour co-ordinated, and if it passed by for me a genuine "head-turner" nevertheless.

I think if I recall you are probably right with your Caravan ID....I'll check to confirm. Done it-it's a 1963 Sprite Alpine.

PS you can't have too many unusual cars from Germany :-D

That's not a head-turner Neil, it's more of a stomach-turner

I bought one of those VW fastbacks (the mustard one) once in excellent condition, nobody wanted it, took over a year to find a buyer.
