My grandparnts are getting a partner tepee disel 16 blue hdi 100 bhp allure 5door etg auto does not come with alloy wheels
My grandad asked why it doesnt come with alloy wheels the sales man said its to do with technical reason s but the manual modles come with alloy s
Is it a con to buy alloy s becase the auto box cost s 500 pounds And for the alloy s cost 500 pounds
All is there a reason why the auto s come with steel wheels not alloy s thanks

Try asking at a different dealers.

The manual says Active models (there is no Allure trim) come on steel wheels, so sounds like the dealer is right. The Outdoor model is on 16" alloys, but they're not available with the ETG 'box - no idea why, maybe something to do with gear ratios or the official efficiency tests....

No Allure in the current model year catalogue, but if this is pre-reg, then there might have been one last year!

I can't work out why the auto teepee has no alloys. Looking at other models with the same gearbox they are available with alloy wheels.

Personally on a van or van derived car I think steel wheels are better so wouldn't want alloys but I accept that is personal preference and understand that your Grandparents probably want them.

If the cars right for them I wouldn't be put off by the steel wheels, alloys are easily found and can be added for less than £500.

My granddad is comming from a bmw 120 d to the peugot partner its becase somtimes the dog struggling going up the ramp
It has a lower seal
If it was me i would have got the c5 top of the range but he be going backwards with the age of the car

I think a Berlingo will suit your grandparents needs better than a C5 .
