I cannot listen to the last track on that album when driving. It ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes, it is so sad.

Surely the vehicles going 'round the M25 would have to play 'Road To Nowhere - Talking Heads' ?

Only a black Zoe when I was almost home.
Expected to see more as I had to call at ECP for a new fan and the roads, particularly the A1, were very busy indeed.
There probably were more but just didn't see them.

Hadn't heard it before James, have now, very moving, and as ever, top class song writing and performance from Chris Rea.

Saw a dark grey i8 parked up in Lanark last night. This may be a local car (although it is on Preston plates) as Simon saw one going past my house when he was there the other week.

Interesting research article on 'recharging' electric cars via electrolyte replacement (note, research at best at the moment!): http://www.thechemicalengineer.com/late ... TZQTWeGPZw

Spotted a Hyundai Ioniq BEV on Sunday - plugged in charging on the AC side of a rapid charger when I stopped to charge the Ion on the DC side! (which luckily can be done simultaneously)

I think it's the first time I've seen one up close in person - I wasn't even sure what it was at first. It's actually pretty nice looking in person. :)

Had one of those on evaluation at work recently, can't say I took to it at all, the interior is made out of cheap hard plastic and soul-less, overall to me the car had all the passion of a nameless washing machine, not for me.

Pair of Leafs in quick succession the first a red 2013 Model....nice colour deeper/darker red than the more usual one you see, followed up with a blue.

Saw a blue Nissan Leaf today behaving just like any other "normal" car. It had driven out into the wilderness of Northumberland without fear, and had reached its destination for enjoying a day out in a charging point desert, in the rain. The odd thing, it was just parked up like the rest of us, not even plugged into a recharging point to make sure there was enough juice to get it back home.

Bonus points for a "normal" spot there.

There are a couple of Tesla's, BMW i8, and a few Leafs that I see in my area fairly frequently. It's mainly Leafs I see on the road and being charged at motorway services.
Have to say that I'm no fan of EV's and never will be. When the day arrives that the internal combustion engine is outlawed, my interest in cars will die with it.
I don't understand why Hydrogen as a fuel hasn't been developed more. Only emission then is water!
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
