Typical! I'll be working/sleeping when they are open and the sun blinds and cool bag would be ideal for my jaunt to the South of France next Friday!

Just waiting for a chance/excuse to throw this in: back home in Germany, Lidl are introducing very sophisticated coffee, etc vending machines: their own 1/2-decent coffee for €1 a cup :)

Lidl's own brand coffee is very good and well priced. Even my Colombian missus says so!

If you mean Bellaroma(?) - in the gold 1k pack, I drink it most of the time (except when the Italian stuff Poundland sometimes have makes Lidl's seem expensive) but in Germany (don't think I've seen it anywhere else) even though that particular coffee costs less, there is an cheaper one, in a similar but red packaging which, if anything, I think is slightly better. Anyway, that's the brand (if not the blend) that's in the vending machines: I think it compares favourably with the Costa stuff we're familiar with in garages - @ over twice the price!

Of course Lidl's do some other more exotic/expensive blends, including a fairtrade Columbian one - but can't speak for them, as can't justify the additional cost!

Rather shocked and disturbed that I had to get to post #209 on the Arrse before there was any mention of requiring freshly drawn water to make a brew. :-s
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(
