I didn't even look at the feedback as I assumed it'd be all related to the sellers business... There's cars there too?

Actually, just looked. Seems he does sell "the odd car" too & you're right 98% over 1269 feedback is not a record of which to be proud... I wonder if he has really owned this one as long as claimed then... Looking closer I can see why anyone would want to avoid this guy...

Hmmm I never noticed but I've driven only a few weeks on holiday, mostly on main roads so I guess that doesn't give me a broader picture.
You are right i think a lot of loose metal roads have been sealed - I think the road to Cape Reinga is sealed now, haven't been up that way since though. Thinking of taking GSA for a drive to unsealed backroads in Coromandel in the next few weeks, it's always fun that way :-D
That said, road works planning has been pretty poor, at least where I live - quite often you see the same patch of road dug up for service work (water mains, communication line etc) then a few weeks later, it's dug up and patched again, for different service work.
And pothole repair is also pretty poor, takes less than a month before it slumps down to another pothole...

It shouldn't be too difficult to plan integrated road works properly. I mean, Heineken can do it, and they are a brewery!;
