Gosh! That's wonderful. I do love birds of prey immensely... In fact I love all birds except bloody flying rats - otherwise known as pigeons...

I often see a buzzard sat on top of telegraph pole just down the road from home on my way into work. He (she? no idea how to tell them apart!) usually looks about as hacked off as I feel at 06:45!!!

Must be a girl bird if she looks hacked off at that time... Still waiting for her husband to come back from a night on the tiles maybe?

Completely inefficient Scrapyards/ATF's or whatever

Why?

The offending ones pile up the cars in three's one on top of the other, making any removal of parts possibly one of the most dangerous activities known to man!

e.g. Nice clean example of a 2.0 hid Xsara Picasso, in the middle of the triple decker sandwich. Clean looking engine lots of good parts/. Probably a decent engine overall all inaccessible.

I did manage to open the bonnet but not so I could prop it open, stood on the bonnet of an adjacent car, propped the bonnet up with my head and just about managed to pop off a couple of leak off pipe connectors and pipes.

paid the base price for anything at a scrappy i.e. £5.

Quite worthy of a place in room cent-un :!: :!:

I will admit that there are, occasionally, honest politicians. The problem for them is that their party tries to keep them out of the way. My definition of an honest politician is this;

An honest politician is a person who listens to their constituents, takes on board what they are being asked to do (regardless of whether this is what their political party wants), and then presents those requests without any bias. They will also say what they mean to say, without any ambiguous phrases. The last honest politician I am aware of would be Mo Mowlan (as I tend to avoid watching anything vaguely political I may have missed any more recent politicians I would consider honest, and worth voting for).

Barring honest politicians, can we drop politicians in?

From politicians................... and others in official capacities.

Harold Wilson's "At this moment in time." which seems to have taken hold throughout the nation, why can't they just say 'now'
And "Our thoughts and prayers."
And "Lessons have been learned."
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.
