Ok where do i start.

In another post i was asking about reyro fitting electric leather seats in a C5.

Well i found a C5 exclusive 2.0 hdi manual with leather seats today and nagged the guy to open up his lock up for me to see it as i didnt know when i could get to him during working hours due to my job.

Ok he agreed in the end but what i did not know was all around the lock ups on a sunday is a massive boot sale with hundreds of people around.
Problem 1. How many people would i knock down on a test drive.
Problem 2. Battery had been taken off and needed to be reconnected.
Problem 3. Was the baby in his arms as he was babysitting for the day. That is why he dont work sundays.

Problem 4. He connected the battery not knowing the correct procedure. But, neither did i. Hence more codes than the chances of winning the lottery.
Problem 5. His Snap on mega code reader etc did ,well not much at all but looked very good.
A quick txt and a phone call to Stickyfinger revealed the battery procedure which we did not do but was advised on what or maybe and should i or shouldnt i take the chance.

After long negotiations and arguing we come to a figure which i can live with, because if it all goes wrong i will have the leather for another car and sell the rest and probably wont lose much if any.

The engine sounds fine. It goes up and down fine. The buzz when ignition on is there for the pump or whatever.

Now i had to run off as i had to get into work as i needed to be in Hull before 8pm. Got there at 8.03pm. Good enough.
The car is still there waiting for me to collect in a secure security present place so no worries there.

Car is 2 owners, silver, with 87k vosa checked and as good as my current C5.
Fingers crossed, i will when i can get it home and take it from there, will update when i know more.

I am not going to even mention saturdays nightmare day with a cherished car for sale that i wouldnt keep chickens in.

Relaxing in the city of culture now with a coffee and biscuits and all ready to start deliveries in the morning.
I need to retire, i,m too old for this. Lol

It's only a 08 plate 2.0 hdi exclusive but it will be new to me.
Thought i would upgrade while i could, The one we picked up has done me well and still going strong, in fact i have only done approx 8k since owning it, still much the same as when we went supersonic to get her Stickyfinger.

A day i will remember forever.lol.
