Ah the excitement, and attention to detail of electric vehicle spotting.

Apparently the "new" Zoe is subtly different from an old zoe. Gone is the EV signature blueish logo from the front to be replaced with....revolutionary......chrome!
http://press.renault.co.uk/ElectricVehi ... f706a.aspx
ZOE will be available in three new colours for 2017 – Mars Red, Titanium Grey and Ytrium Grey (available on Signature Nav only) complementing the Zircon Blue metallic added in 2016. The Renault logo and badging switches from blue to chrome to accommodate this new colour selection. The 16-inch alloy wheel design on Dynamique Nav and above has been changed.
So a bit of sharp focus in spotting Zoe's, and claim a few extra points for "a chrome logo....that's a chrome logo"

You could well spot one of these from this April down Dorset way, at the Tank Museum Bovington

http://www.tankmuseum.org/year-news/bovnews53673
Elefant in The Tiger Collection

The Elefant on display in The Tiger Collection was loaned to The Tank Museum by The United States Army Center of Military History. The vehicle was captured by the American’s in Italy during the campaign at Anzio-Nuttuno in May 1944. After some mechanical problems, the vehicles was abandoned, but not before its crew had secured the Elefant with hand grenades and mines, to prevent it falling intact into enemy hands.

It was later shipped to Aberdeen Proving Ground in the United States for examination and is now only one of only two Elefant’s to have survived the war. The vehicle no longer runs, but was restored to display condition by the team at Fort Lee, in 2007-2008.
Yes well worth 50 points for an unusual spot, for anyone going to take a look for themselves :-D

The blue rhombus signifies an electric car?

If so there are dozens of them around here.

Spotted a Tesla Model S in Grey today on the M1 southbound between J11 and 10. No pic as I was driving and my missus seemed remarkably uninterested in it.

I can understand that... I'm pretty underwhelmed by them too! From a distance they just look like any other car of the 2010s and like me she likely finds grey so deadly dull as to be not worth looking.

The good old days also had their fair shares of grey! Just looking down this excellent gallery of Rover P6 Colours we have...

Burnt Grey (June 1966-September 1970)
City Grey (October 1963-June 1966)
Lunar Grey (August 1972-October 1975)

It wasn't all avocado and apricot!

More's the shame :(

I seem to remember the greys of those days were shinier and slightly less dull in a grey sort of way than modern greys are.

I think grey sums up most modern cars perfectly: yawningly dull, tedious and boring to the extreme.

I did put tarmac-coloured cars into "Chambre cent-un"...covers all sorts of dullage as well as the "greys" "silvers" "gunmetals" and the like. My very dark blue "Ellesmere Port's finest" also adopts a cloak of invisibility the wetter the road gets so it went in there as well, but my wicked red Picasso survived (metaphorically speaking).

Various body-colour tests were done at Rover on the P6, under David Bache's critical eye. With a couple of exceptions (one was Monza Red), they found that bright colours just didn't quite suit the car . . . but the muted ones did. Hence Lunar Grey, Tobacco Leaf, Old English White, etc. I always fancied having my Lunar Grey 3500S resprayed in Army Staff Car green; apart from Camouflage, you don't get more muted than that!

No shortage of choice when it comes to Greys...

I spotted 3 Tesla's today (1 blue, one red, and one grey), one on the M25, and the other two on the M23.

Nice gallery of Tesla Colours and a poll on preferences from teslamotorsclub.com.....Grey has very nearly come out on top so far, only a few votes behind Red/Signature Red

The deep metallic blue I reckon is gorgeous and is definitely the colour I'd be getting one in.

Loads of Tesla Model S's round my way.
Great looking car, inside and out.
Fantastic sales team too - the most open of all the marque's at Goodwood FOS motor show every year, letting anyone climb in/out of the cars and play with anything and everything.
I would willingly have one.
