THX for your Guide/tutorial... Very helpful. Martin, Denmark
Assuming this is for your C5 X7 then the upgrade is possible - but you will have to source the extra kit as per the post. It is a completely different system, with the e-myway having the mapping and jukebox data on an internal Hard Disk, whereas the MyWay had the maps on an SD card for example. You will need to purchase the correct screen (beware - there were 2 types, one is a higher resolution and used in the NG4 too). You'll need the fascia replacement (again read the post - there are differences in the sizes for the display screen). It will all need configuring properly too and toe correct options setting to work.

You should get the artist and track info, but no album artwork.

The menu on your last picture is the correct one for normal use. The other menu in the third picture is really just for diagnostic information and changing some frequencies and other settings. Changing anything there can brick your system if you don't know what you're doing. You access it by pressing the setup button once, then pressing buttons 1, 2 & 3 together, then letting go and then wait for the service menu to appear.

But be careful - as I said, there are no 'customer' options to set - everything is set at the factory.

You don't! This one is not the menu to make changes as I said. You need to go back to the proper menu. Just press 'Setup' once and then select languages from the options displayed, then choose your language.

If you can't see the menu from a short press on SETUP, then try holding the SETUP button until the other menu is displayed.

Ok, press escape to come out of that menu. When it's back to the radio or whatever, hold down SETUP for 5 to 10 seconds then let go to get the extra menu

Well it seems you are missing a menu option - the first menu before 'Date & Time' should be 'System Language'. What is your car VIN? - I need to see exactly what you have.

Sometimes the system needs a reset after a firmware update. If you are willing to loose any music or other saved addresses in the system, this may be what you need to do. From SETUP, go to SYSTEM and then FACTORY RESET. Try this.
