207 Glovebox mystery thingy

Unread post by mickeymoon »

While looking for something else, I discovered this mystery little "box" with a removable plate in the glovebox of my 207 1.4 16v petrol.

Any ideas what it is? It's not the diagnostic port..Image

Thats where the Aux inputs for the stereo go if you've got the premium sound upgrade.
Worth checking if theres a connector under there and if the stereo can unlock aux, handy port to have.

There's probably nothing under there as we had the head unit (RD4) out and there was nothing connected at the rear of it, so we connected a lead to the rear and activated aux port 1, and pulled the lead through the dash to a convenient place.

I take it you know where the diagnostic port is Mike?

The number of times I've had a Lexia hooked up to mine I know it intimately
