Another for Jon
I collected a set of filters for my daughter's 2002 HDI Xsara last week. The fuel filter was N12121. When I got the old one out, it didn't match the original. Took it to H-----d's but couldn't find a similar one - only the type supplied by GSF. In desperation I went to the nearby Pug dealer and asked them to match it. They did, but for an eye-watering £16.75. The original is marked PSA96 410 878 80 KX85. Any chance of you being able to tell me the GSF part number for future use?

On the subject of fuel filters, I notice the 8v and 16v use different ones: I bought one for my 8v and never got round to fitting it so it joined my useful spares club in my garage. I bought a 16v one for my current car and compared with the 8v it looks identical, so is my 8v one indeed a 16, or do they look the same but have different guts?
