Hello!
I succesfully reset eprom memory (shortcutting pins on AT29C512) on spare Sagem SL96 ECU for my Xantia which supposedly had broken ECU by Sagem Ignition Coil.
New ECU is wipped out of immobiliser code by forementioned process. The car starts with this ECU but there is immo light(key) and buzzing for 30sec from dashboard. I looked into Haynes electric scheme to find out how to disable buzzer or buzzing but did not find anything useful.
Xantia 1998 1.8i 16V with fitted LPG system Autogas Italia EasyJet had problems in 1000-2000RPM when accelerating on petrol (not LPG). With hacked ECU everything is running smoothly on petrol. Now I need another Coil (not Sagem) and get rid of this annoying 30s buzz at start to remap LPG system as this was not possible to do accurately with old ECU.
Any help/tip disabling buzzer will be very much appreciated.

Re: Xantia ECU Immobiliser Buzzer and Warning Light
The buzzing when the immobiliser coding in the ECU is wiped is a known consequence unfortunately. Not much can be done about it easily so best to live with it.
The best you might do is disconnect the sounder inside the instrument pod...
