Citroen C4 1.6 VTR petrol 05 plate won't start

Hi. Have a problem starting my C4. It will turn over but will not fire. Battery and starter motor have been changed. RAC attended and repeatedly turned the car over and it did eventually start and provided a diagnosis of flooded engine. I was advised that it could possibly by an injector problem. Any other ideas, that are a much cheaper fix, greatly received. Could it be crank position sensor? Thanks in advance. Lisa
