I've got the Firmare and I UnRAR-ed the files. There are 4 files.
I've forgot to tell you: mine is the monochrome system. I think that is the reason why the newer CDs don't work. I think the ones I have are for the color system.

That would be as I said then - the other version and makes sense. I've also sent you a PM regarding the above files as I've just remembered about the structure - details in the PM.

Hi,
I'm sorry for not writing for such a long time, but in the meantime I tried everything in my power to find the CDs for my RT2-Siemens navigation monochrome system. To no avail.
So, several days ago I ordered a "1-DIN Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Quad-Core 7″ Multimedia Car DVD GPS with Mutual Control Easy Connection", Eonon made (GA1350F). The item arrived yesterday but my local Citroen dealer would install it only in two weeks. So, I intend to install it on myself making the minimum connections possible. I mean, to connect the GA1350F connector to the old connector of the RT2.
Do you think it is safe for me to do that?

Hi, I suspected you would have a job getting that old software now as it is quite old and was replaced quite soon after it came out. Anyway, now you have taken the plunge and got yourself a new piece of kit 8-) - I think the sensible thing to do is let them fit it for you if your aren't too sure about wiring this in. It's not so much the safety aspect, but they should be able to wire in the steering wheel controls and make sure the connections are made correctly too. That way if anything goes wrong you can always take it back to them. I would just make sure that you have all your car settings configured before you do this in case you loose the ability to change anything once the head unit has been replaced. You've waited this long, so another couple of weeks won't hurt unless you are comfortable in doing it yourself. Anyway - it will probably take you a couple of weeks to read the manual for the new system! :-D

Hi Mark!
Thank you for your response!
That is what I am intending to do: to have the Citroen dealer completely install the new system. Just I am eager to see now how it looks. That's why I was thinking of connecting it to the old connector of my RT2, but not if I can damage the new kit.
The connectors are the same. I checked it out, and the 8 pinouts for the speakers are identical wired. I think that the other 4 pinouts needed are also similarly wired, but I am not very sure of that. Pinout 12 (GND) is certainly the ground on both diagrams. Pinout 10 on the Eonon GA1350F is ACC; on the RT2 is BACKUP. Pinout 11 on the Eonon is BATT; on the RT2 is + VAN. Finally, pinout 9 on the Eonon is ANT OUT, while on the RT2 is +12 V SW. I think it would work, but I'm not very sure. That is why I was asking for your opinion. If the connections are correct, it should light up. For the rest of the connections (wiring in the steering wheel controls) I'll wait for the service to finally do its job in two weeks.
The other 4 pinouts left on the RT2, but with no correspondence on the new kit are: TEL MUTE, DATA, DATA, N.C.
What do you think?

This is where I can't be sure as although the speaker connections are fine I am not so sure about those other connections - this new kit has a separate GPS unit - which I assume is also the Antenna - so I'm not sure whether you should connect ANT OUT to anything else - Also the C5 had a VAN speed network for the head unit - and I'm just not sure about those connections - personally I would leave it as if you connect the wrong wire up you could end up bricking the unit or your car!

Dear Marc,

After consulting all the diagrams, two hours ago I connected the two main connectors. And it works!
I'll leave the rest of the connections (the wiring in of the steering wheel controls) for the dealer in two weeks.
The worst part is that Eonon didn't send me any User manual. I asked for one, but they didn't respond, yet.

I had a look on their site where all the manuals are and there isn't one for your model worryingly! I checked the wiring pins from the product information page.

Exactly, Marc.
I also looked on their site and there was no User manual for this item. And they didn't response to my request, yet.
I found some instructions in the files on the GA1350F, but they are not very helpful.
For instance, I know I can use not only Google maps or other apps for Android, but some dedicated GPS programs, too. There is a microSD slot for GPS, but I don't know what maps/apps I need and where to buy them from. And I didn't find any other GPS program OEM installed.

I think to use the genuine HERE (formerly Navteq) mapping would cost them too much, so they just make it work with free apps like Google Maps. Hopefully it will do the job for you and maybe you can find some good Android apps to improve it further.

I was thinking of HERE, also.
I'll give it a try tomorrow morning. I need an app that can work offline. Otherwise it will be costly while I am abroad.
