Deadlocking on C3

Unread post by akojic »

How this works? According to manual, you should use plip on remote key. If I lock the car (sitting inside) by pressing the upper buton on the key I'll easily open the door afterwards as in regular sitation. Am I wrong [:(]about understanding the deadlocks? I have two buttons on remote; one is for locking and another for unlocking. If I press uper button for locking one more time after several seconds, all lights starts flashing (finding car on crowded parking lot feature.)
Please help!
Thanks

on a UK spec C3 it works as follows, one press of the lock button on the remote deadlocks the car,two presses of the lock button within 2 seconds will lock the car normally so it can still be opened from the inside.

Wheeler you are right there. The same occurs with Australian spec cars too. If i press my key once it locks normally. It pressed twice it has the other feature of being able to be unlocked from inside.
