Same here. I don't wash them very often at all. Mostly just before a rally

Same here, the inside of my car is spotless. I have a bottle of window cleaner and some microfibre clothes in the storage bins to clean the windows, lights and plates when necessary.

30 quid to wash motors? Never paid a penny. You guys will be paying to get grass cut next. That is good money to buy tools or oil.
Years ago we got a fiver to wash works van. I washed it myself and the money went to things I could own or use.

That's the difference between a god one and a bad one. I hate carwashes myself, I always spot things I don't like. Well with the exception of the one off Charlie browns roundabout in Woodford, they know how to clean a car properly. The one in Llandudno is rubbish, I stopped them the only time I went as the cloths were dirtier than the car.

It's because of my medical conditions that I don't wash cars now. I always used to have the cars spotless, washed and leathered every week and waxed or polished every month. Never would anyone else wash my car, or would it see a car wash. I still won't put a car through a car wash, but needs must with getting it hand washed.

I have a similar attitude but once a week is the target rather than the norm. If I weren't able to then I'd spend quite some time finding one I was happy with. The one in Woodfords brilliant, well it was up to 5 years ago. I've not been since.

To be honest, I find car washes (manual or auto) scary because of my claustrophobic tendencies...

I have to be able to 'escape' instantly from any situation at a moment’s notice. You can't do that in a car wash...

Having similar issues, but only with small spaces, I find I don't get it in a car wash, as I dislike people, and it's one place I can be free of them bothering me for a few minutes, much like the bathroom!
