It's my left leg that let's go sometimes that's how I always say I am going for an auto. A higher set car is necessary for me too, so that's how a mini mpv aka Picasso senic or the like and auto box would be good for me. I need to save up while hating the micra!

Perversely I seem to need a low seat at the moment :O I find it easier and less painful to drive the 207 with my legs stretched right out and the seat as far back as it will go and as low as it will go, so my leg isn't bent.

Mickey, you need a hand throttle! My first Mini had one, along with a knob on the steering wheel as it was previously driven by a disabled driver...

There's usually a knob behind the steering wheel....

I have just want and bought a new (old) daily driver for myself. I'm afraid it is not French though so I won't say too much about it. It's a Jan 06 55 plate seat Leon 1.9tdi 130. It has not been fiddled with in any way, two owners and full history. It is high mileage, but has had an engine change including clutch and cambelt 50k ago. It also has had the usual VAG front wing corrosion sorted out with replacement wings recently. I'm very surprised by how comfortable it is, although it was only a 15 mile run home. It will be taxed on 1st January when the tax in the micra runs out. So now to sell the micra. It's not a car I could have lived with, the seats and driving position just did not fit me.

Davie still has his Activa and besides, we all stray occasionally...

And we all need to see the best is still French by checking the opposition every now and again...

We always come back ;)

There's a lot of room in my heart for any decent engineering, especially in cars. I have a love of the xud and hydropneumatic though so the next Xantia is never far away when I'm French carless. I desire a Volvo Amazon estate, an old Alfa and a McLaren to name but a few of the others I like.

I'm not in danger of selling the activa any time soon, and when it goes it would be very possible it would be replaced by a c5 v6. Therfore I'm not being a traitor at all. Remember I still have access to a French badged Toyota [emoji23]

As much as I'd love to be the next owner of your Activa all I can say is don't do it, ever. A C5 V6 deserves an Activa to snuggle up to at night.

I wish that you turn into an old fart sometime soon and swap it for a Berlingo of similar value plus a little cash your way.

I'm already an old fart lol. Now go swap that berlingo for a nice c5 v6 and I could be persuaded to part with the activa lol
