Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Spotted an Xm on high at a disused garage between Tregunc and Concarneau this week, was also dark blue! Garage is used for a couple of large motorhome storage now by the looks of things, also spotted a good number of Xantia, mostly silver ones, coupe dark blue, one in the lovely light blue! Will pull pictures of the phone and camera dreckly, - got in at 11pm last night.
After All, I am the Cornish one!

Wow ! Iv'e been papped ! At the Festival of the Unexceptional. The 509 van is in actual fact a 305 van and I am the proud owner for the last 17 years. Does this make my van a sleb ? And will he be invited into a jungle at some point, and and and will I become a trophy owner ? The future is looking gooooood !

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Two interesting ones on Friday.
Both heading towards Oxford on the A34 (I think). Earlier on in the day was a Pug 309 and later on a violently bright green Citroen Dyanne. Can't remember the last time I saw one of them in the wild.

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Pug 309 was possibly the most under-rated Pug ever... They were excellent. Just a big 205 and they felt and drove like a 205 too...
The 309 GTi, especially in 'Goodwood' form - all wood and leather - is now very sought-after...
The 309 was one of the early recipients of the XUD engine too...

It may not be a surprise, but I just spotted my Xantia and XM on Google street view. Picture taken about August this year.

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Spotted nothing interesting of a French nature on my 33 mile bike ride today but I did pot an immaculate dark green Morris Minor Van.
I really must get a helmet cam for my bike so I can show interesting cars spotted when out on the bike...
