Xantia air con

Hi chaps.

Anybody had an issue with the Air con evaporator in a Xantia ? Mine seems to be leaking gas into the cabin area through the vents. Never had a problem with the evaporator matrix leaking before so just wondered if this is a known problem ? Google didnt reveal anything useful. As the old girl is 20 years old now is it just a symptom of old age ? Any info would much appreciated.

It is certainly not a common issue. The condenser and piping to it are the usual culprits (due to salt corrosion)
