Bloody hell I see Tapatalk are getting into ads now! Every time I log on there's a picture of some scantily clad bird asking if I want a date. Bloody sick of it all.

Good, those boxes are very fussy... Just like their newer sibling, the HP20..

As Corporal Jones might have said if you give them the wrong stuff 'They don't like it up 'em'...

Every time I try to get on Citroen Service it says it's for professional's only.

When I bought the Bx the box was very erratic, holding a gear too long sometimes, changing too early others. When I dipped it the fluid had the consistency of mud and was a browny black colour! I started a process of draining and refilling. After the second session I noticed the changes getting crisper with no slide and 2-3 which was the main hanger on starting to change up at lower revs. It's an ongoing process. The fluid is now brown with a slight hint of red. :-)

Two letters just popped through the door. The first was a tax refund for the Kia from the Dvla. The second was an acknowledgement that I've sold the Kia from the Dvla! No wonder road tax keeps going up, its to pay for their extravagance!

Not as bad as Admiral Insurance who seem to send out three letters when one would suffice!

Oh dear took the old girl in for a clutch today and they have had major problems. :-( Because this is the first surgery in 18 years many nuts and bolts were siezed and snapped. So they have some drilling and tapping to do. They said maybe tomorrow afternoon, mmm.

Ohh, that's not happy Dave... I know the problem and when I did Davie's Activa clutch I really had to spend a lot of time and exercise great care on a lot of fixings... good bit of Malcolm's percywhatsit and a can of Plus-Gas did the trick - luckily but it does, for a commercial operation, extend their time.. Snapping and sorting out can be quicker for them...

Hope it's all good very soon..

They said hopefully this afternoon but I bet the price will go up. Still if I end up with a nice clutch it's worth it.

Oh yes, it'll be worth it for the feel of the clutch Dave. I can guarantee it'll be a transformation...

I'll be doing Gabriel's in the spring...

And her heater matrix...

Haha I'm quite looking forward to getting her back. I dusted the old bus pass off today and I'm out with the missus.

I've been entitled to one for years but found there were too many hoops to jump through to be worthwhile.
Only use a bus once a year when the car goes in for an MOT.

I'm not quite old enough yet for a bus pass but my interest was in getting a bus from here to the station on Saturday morning to go to the NEC Classic car Show...

As it happens, I dismissed the idea as timings were too tight and eh car parking fee was just about the same as the bus fare...
