My alarm/immobiliser has become unreliable, sometimes difficult to de-activate using the plip key. Does anyone know how to remove it completely? Or better still, leave it in place just to drive the flashing LED, but bypass the immobiliser and disconnect the alarm function? The car is a 1993 405GLi Auto Estate, with later type facia, no airbag, no keypad. I can't find a keyswitch behind the headlamps or a button on the steering column shroud. If anyone can help it might be better if you could e-mail me rather than post info on the forum.
