Well to capture an image like this, you would probably have to invest in a drone/camera combo, and grab a quick flight out to Japan...........

...I think the image best goes on Spectacular Roads though...so thats where I have put it!

Today's autumn season classic spot, a nice little combination of the same era...late 1950's.

No original photography but it was definitely one of these...A Willerby Vogue, this example being 1957. Very nice back lights!

Close your eyes Sticky......came across this picture today by pure chance...it's of a coupe of residents of Somerset from the "Bakelite Museum" at Williton....and what are the chances of that happening?...one of them is the extra large bakelite storm trooper helmet like the one I spotted the other day :-D :!: Not as nice rear lights though.

It was amazing what they made of Bakelite years ago... Even coffins!

Now there are classics that are nice to look at, but this has the sound and smell as well, and and a genuine 50 pointer for an unusual spot.

It is an Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili Romeo 6C 1750 GS from the 1930's.

Image

I like the red headlight covers :)
From http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z12521/Alfa-Romeo-6C-1750-GS.aspx

The Red Headlight covers (removed at night) served several purposes and were used by most Alfa Romeos competing in the pre-war Mille Miglia Races. Being an open road race, the covers protected the headlights from flying rocks, allowed the cheering crowds to easily identify an Alfa as it approached and could be used to distract non-Alfa competitors turning on those big 12V Bosch lights and tailgating the opposing car.

That last caravan, the little grey one, has a certain John Major look about it, as immortalised by Steve Bell's strip in the Guardian.

I saw a lovely deep blue Daimler this morning, and had a quick chat with the owner. He gave me permission to take and post up a couple of photos (so, could one of the moderators PLEASE work your magic and translate the URL into picture form? I have tried on a few occasions, but I have not succeeded in getting it right YET!);

Use the links on the right (or below the thumbnails) Either "Direct" where you need to add the image tags to get it to display.
I have used the "Img" link - you can see it is highlighted.

Love that Daimler!

Just saw a current gen Morgan 3 Wheeler heading north up the M6 just south of Lancaster. Sadly no photo as I didn't manage to get the camera out fast enough.

Still want one.

http://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/car-creat ... /?show_cta

nice little page where you can create some nice, and probably more fun, some hideous color combinations :-D . Not sure if you can literally get the car in any colour you choose just like the paint-mix stations at the DIY store.

This sort of thing.....

Nothing of interest spotted on my Heathrow trip today at all... I think Gabriel may have been the oldest vehicle out on the roads early today and possibly the oldest vehicle in the T5 Short Stay car park!
