Just too reliable??? (Yes you read right).
That little 3 door Xsara Mk1 VTR has now been in with me for over 6 months and apart from a small blip a couple of months back (idel valve), has yet to play up [:D]. It's been so reliable that I've gone out and bought my self an new guitar after 3 years with out one. Nice Fender Telecaster shaped jap brand [8D], also got a new amp as the last one was E-bay'd off for spares after a high volume blow out. Twenty watts and with a full reverb [:D] It's all because apart from oil 'n' water checks on the weekend there ain't much more to do. So I'm either really lucky so far or this could be the Citroen that was built properly and not on the same lines as Rover or Lada cars [:)][:)].

Anthromophic Personification....
Works every time.
TOLD the ZX i didnt love it, TOLD it if it ever broke down it would either get fired or towed to the scrappy. It was scared, it never broke down.
The Xantia KNOWS I love it, it KNOWS if it breaks I will throw money at it, so it takes the p155 and keeps doing "interesting" things....
Already TOLD the AX, despite appaerences (giving it service and putting new matrix in) if it mis behaves, it only cost £500 so it will be off down the scrappers or back on eBay..... Should stop it from sicking up all its oil or water[:)]

I know, I know. I never talk in front of the Xsara, especially about this kind of stuff. I have one car problem to sort and it's the wifes radio in her Reno, but for time being that can wait to next weekend or so. It's just that the old girl is, well a little boring at the moment. Nothing has gone wrong, squeeks, rumbles nothing. It was the wifes fault she told me I need something to do. Any how come summer and the impending loft / room make over (too much TV) and garden re-buld (again) things will start to pick up and I have the feeling that's when the Xsara will let go.

I assume you do not talk in front of, or to trees either.
Or was that the case after a few drinks last night? [:)]

Think it could be a garden conspiracey what with the 'whispering grass' and all. I seem to be losing the abiltity to type what I mean. LOL
I don't talk about the Xsara in front on the Xsara, bah! you know what I mean. Mind saying that the wife always referes to the Xsara as "frenchy" and her Reno Convertible as "Dizzy". Then again when she saw the new guitar she said "jeees, Mr. rock 'n'roll is in the building,". Long live (Mr.) Rock 'n'roll [8D][8D]

I used to own a BX that developed a habit of stalling and refusing to restart for a few minutes, always just after reversing out of a parking space. It once decided to do this in a station car park, diagonally across the entrance so no one else could get in or out of the carpark. I was already in a hurry and I completely lost it, attacking the car "Basil Fawlty style", and kicked it hard enough to dent the front wing. I explained very loudly to it that if it ever did this again I would have it towed to the nearest scrapyard. I calmly got back in, the engine started first time and it never stalled like that again in the remaining 3 years I owned it [:D]

Get yerself an 80's Aria Pro!!!! Poor mans SG!!!!!.....lovely laminated straight through neck!
I had a Selmer treble'n'bass valve amp once, used to give me terrible shocks, and don't even stand near an old Leslie Cab with the multi core foot control, you can almost create your own lightening strike............
