This Norfolk is a bit more far flung but who knows, a member of the FCF may have set foot on it :-D :!: ....lets hope so!

It was one of the favourtites of Alan Whicker, and he made one of his TV programmes about it. The Norfolk bit comes from Captain James Cook, who named it after the Duchess of Norfolk. More of Alan Whicker just in case some of the more youthful members of the FCF have never heard of him on "On TV"

This is where I sit Neil, my daughter tells me it's not actually the bay but the river off the bay. Photo taken on a not so nice day last autumn.

Not set foot on that one :) but I've been to Brisbane and Cairns and out on the Great Barrier Reef swimming.

I'm sure she will like that Jim, lovely place, my brother's gone now but as he took six children with him I have a large contingent of nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren there, mostly around the Brisbane area., I think at the last count there were nearly seventy of them. :)

Posted this up a while ago, It actually sold for £14,175....looks like there is still a healthy demand for Citroen H Vans.

While waiting for the most important business of securing an original photograph of the AA Box at Brancaster, FCF members from Norfolk, and FCF Members who have visited or "holidayed" there might like this rather nice image of Cromer Pier from http://www.picturesofengland.com

Strange but true....a random link between Newcastle and Norfolk. The "Robert Sinclair Tobacco Company Limited" established 1836, and subject to an appearance on "Picture(s) of the day" due to its splendid ghost sign....produced brands known as Ladies Twist, Navy Plug, and......of course Norfolk Brown Shag :!: :-D

I suspect it would be Norfolk Virginia we are talking about here....still bang on topic though. :)

Regards Neil

Anyone venturing to Brancaster to photograph the AA Box :?:

In celebration of ordering a radio removal tool from an outfit based in Diss, a town which featured on page 1 of this very thread in relation to the "Aston Martin Bike", here is a nice welcoming sign to the town.
