Problems with c8 on way to icccr

we were on our way to the icccr .we got as far as Dover be when something went wrong the car filled with smoke.it was turbocharge and the car just kept running on .the car has now been transported back to Bexhill and we have an hire car and have continued to Holland to the icccr. We are unsure if to get it fixed or get another car at the moment .but if anyone has a7seater Citroen for sale can their let me know just in case we decide to buy but another car.

Ouch.

Have heard of this kind of thing happening, oil leak in the turbo, engine then starts using the engine oil as fuel. Since a diesel doesn't need a spark to ignite it just runs on it's own.

c8 now on ebay as spares or repair This auction is for a non-running Citroen C8, due to the turbo going, the car still starts and runs on idle though.
Over the last year we have replaced the cam belt, alternator, front break pads and discs, air flow meter. The car was recently serviced and has been topped up with topped eyloys fluid. This car has had a new clutch fitted previous to us owning the vehicle.
The car is in not bad condition for it's age.

Bad luck BUT it could've been much worse because at least you have something to salvage, what can happen is the engine cannot be stopped & it simply explodes.

Hope you find another one, that also has had all the important jobs done on it.
