Well Euan, it seems that both are valid parts depending on the sites you use - you have the 110 DV6TED4 FAP engine.
Could be the branding and whether they come with the gasket and seal or not. If you put the 1618NR in without a space in the search engines, you'll get both these parts coming up - so I would go with the one that is already in your vehicle.

Re: C4 Grand Picasso - Flat Spot / Intermittent Gear Change Problem
Morning, thanks very much for all the help again. looking on ebay i assume this one will be correct http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VALEO ... SwT5tWPLRL ? the part numbers seem to line up in the description, spoke to the seller and he says they are genuine Valeo. I assume these dont normally need setting up but are plug and play?

They don't need coding Euan, but it is important the seals are replaced according to the docs - here's a link to the installation / removal PDF for you that I printed off that mentions the seals etc. :

Much appreciated mate, bit paranoid after the problems with the last one so want to get the right one and get it working this time. Will order a new gasket as well and the clip i have is a screw together one as well. Fingers crossed its more successful this time.

Re: C4 Grand Picasso - Flat Spot / Intermittent Gear Change Problem
ok so latest update, new egr fitted and new maf as well. Now getting fault code 0238
have initialised the egr (twice) and it seemed to go ok, it does show up a couple of value invalids in the parameters page when the engine is running.
Also noticed when driving that occasionally the EGR valve electrovalve ocr would occasionally show value invalid mainly when not accelerating.
Last thing is the dpf is showing 1% load but i still cant clear the "risk of particle filter blocking"

Ive checked all the actuators including the turbo solenoid using diagbox and all seem to be functioning. Any advice is very welcome!

Re: Particle filter at risk of blocking and p0238 fault code.
Quick update, have now replaced the turbo solenoid this morning. Cleared the fault codes and after confirming that the exhaust back pressure was fine (4-8 mb at idle) told it that it had a new dpf fitted and cleared the risk of particle blocking, disconnected the turbo guide vanes from the actuator and it seems free enough? Took it out for a couple of drives and so far so good no fault codes so fingers crossed. Got some nice Total oil and a filter on its way to treat it.

Re: Particle filter at risk of blocking and p0238 fault code.
I hope so, didnt replace the DPF just told it that it had a new one, wonder if the ECU has a protection mode as well expecting a blockage? Last thing id like to do is sort the minor leak on the turbo inlet here
any idea of the seal part number or if you can use any type of sealant?
Many thanks for your help with the part numbers through this. Would be nice to get some confidence back in the car again!

If it's the oil Return hose - the gasket is part number 9 Euan (0380 33). I wouldn't use sealant - just replace the gasket
