I would like to borrow 2 Xantia strut tops please

I'm going to send my 2 strut tops off to Elastomer to get "Done" But my daughter now relies on the car to get her to work and will rely on it to get her to university, so waiting 2-3 weeks to get the strut tops done is going to be a hassle. I was wondering if someone would loan me a pair of strut tops for a few weeks whilst I get the 2 Xantia done?

Unless Chris's car has hydractive suspension, then Activa strut tops won't have the right pipe fittings.
Chris, you should post up the VIN, or at the RP and trim level, to ensure that any tops can be checked for having the correct fittings.

Thanks Alisdair.. I'll let you know. I had assumed there were 4 types; standard sized fittings hyrdactive and non hydractive and then the ones with the C5 fittings hydractive and non hydractive... are there more?

Yes there are more because Citroen changed the design of the pipe fittings during the S2 production run. And V6 tops are different again (although perhaps interchangable with other hydractive/Activa tops).

If you want and since we are only 40 miles apart I could easily take a run up (excuse for a bit of activaing) and physically compare them.

Here's the difference as far as I know. V6 struts have bigger "inner" diameter.

Mine are the top kind small 3.5mm conections ..or at least thats what I want them to look like when they come back from Elastomer. I would have taken a photo, but I've had to take the car back to the garage to get the steering sorted.
