No, be a waste on my car which has to live outside.. If I had a garage I could keep it in as Alasdair has now it would be different matter

C5x7 pass the MOT today.....no comments.

Strange that, the last TWO Citroen dealers tried to claim the rear anti roll bar would fail (and added an advisory) by the next MOT....I had cleaned/painted it a few months ago and today ZIP all problem, I even asked the MOT chap to take a 2nd look to check.

He did however forget to raise the suspension and remove the LDS tank lid before jacking up the front, a tall spout of LDS hitting the open bonnet generated a scream for help :), solved by hitting the raise button and releasing the lid :)

I like it when you can teach the professionals a new trick or to (or when I get taught something new). Recently, when I got new tyres for my C5, I had taken the cover off the LDS tank, and, before they jacked her up, I loosened the cap. When they lowered her back down they were surprised that she did not go down to the floor (as it has on all other C5s they had done). They guy said he would try to remember that trick.

Your Activa thinks it is a C5 :)

Coming home from work the CD changer wouldn't work, the single CD player kept dropping out and defaulting to the radio
Climate control kept switching to max temp and blower - it was 26°C!
Infoscreen reported that the passenger airbag was disabled (never has been).°

All fine the following morning.

Was going to do a BSI reset/charge the battery but nothing seems to have happened yet :(

The blue main beam warning dash lamp on my XM never worked until I thumped the top of the dashboard (to make the speedo work!).

10pm at night, cool.
I will clean the bulb and it's socket today. I will also check the wires for brittleness/cracks.

All lighting earths have been changed to bolt-2-inner wing on both sides, main earth panel has been cleaned and is wax protected. This includes the Main/Dip/Side/DRL's and Indicators.
All feed wires to the headlamps/Drl's replaced with a new custom loom and separate relays to take the extra load.
Dash is standard plugs
