Hope so Chris....

TalkTalk really has been terrible these past couple of weeks and never very reliable in the past... Random and too-frequent disconnects and slow throughput has been my major issues for the past few months...

Funny, now I've taken the decision to leave they seem better...

Typed a long answer then miraculously lost it :(

Had the Windows 10 laptop back for a bit of remedial.
What a pain in the bum that is.
I fail to understand why people put up with it.

Interestingly Steve, I'm back to using Ubuntu quite a bit now... I'd say my Ubuntu/Windows usage is about 50:50 these days...

I'd say mine is about 100/0 :)
Not quite true as I use Linux MInt half the time.

Although if someone has physical access to the box then it's likely anyone who's willing to will break in via other means anyway.

My usage is 0/100 Not missed Linux unfortunately. Use it enough on the servers anyway, so get a daily fix.

Language in article I'd consider *not work safe* as its got an 'F' word in it. Just a note in advance really.

I think the article is absolutely spot-on. One of the most honest and truthful ones I've read in a long time..

I have one but its 32bit unfortunately S2003R2 , opened but unused complete with key. Its only opened as I needed the media (I already had a case sticker on a box at that time) but no media to hand.

And yesterday I found myself installing OS/2 Warp...

Blast from the past indeed.

Still, once it had finished complaining (and crashing) it seems quite stable. :)

'desktop client' version

Now they're up to Z names Steve, I wonder what their next release will be called?

I'm remaining on LTS versions so until the next LTS is released and settled I'll stay on 16.04...
