Throttle cable snapped

Is there any easy way to get a throttle cable off an Activa. Cable on the blue Activa has snapped so am trying to get the one off the silver Activa. However can not get the rubber grommet out of bulkhead. Really struggling to get this out do i just pull it. Unsure as i don't want to break the plastic clip that connects to the pedal. HELP.

I think it's just a rubber ball on the cable that goes into the bulkhead from memory. Spray it with a bit of WD40 or something to make it a bit more slippery.

Remove the broken cable first, that way you can see what it's like without breaking the good one whilst trying to work out how to remove it.

IIRC, there's a clip that goes onto the accelerator peddle that's a right sod to get off.

All sorted got a universal fitting kit from woodauto's £25.88. Fitted in a couple of hours with help from some small hands.
