Nice spots James especially the old commercials and I also liked this pic you posted on xantiamaniac's scraptivas blog.
Over 80 pictures of it here
It's asking price is £19,950 which is a good step up from the little "C". But a nicely finished off interior in what is almost "rover Mango" which contrasts perfectly with the blue paintwork.
Regards Neil
The little Type C is just the perfect-looking old car full of character, and the yellow paintwork just right. Something slightly bigger, but along the same lines caught my eye, the Citroen B14F torpedo 1927 for sale on Car and Classic by E&R Classics of the Netherlands

Today just around the corner from our house spotted an absolutely mint looking S plate bright blue Saab 99.
This colour I think.

Re: Classic car spring/summer season 2016-What have you spotted?
That has to be something like "Laguna Blue"
If you like SAAB's you can have a little play with this colour chart. I arrived at Laguna Blue by putting in the model (99) the year (78 for S-Reg) and it was the only blue on the list. Click on the code and up pops a pic of an example vehicle...this time a combi coupe no less.

Thats a Panhard Dyna of some description with its trademark front! The other one appears to be a Peugeot 301 Camionnete circa 1935 ish, but the Grill does have Peugeot SG emblazoned on it. Both absolutely gorgeous

Spotted this British, two-seater sports + 2 apparently (but don't seem as if there's much room in the back!), and when it starts up, if you ever miss being on 40 Woodbines a day, just get a couple of lungfulls, of the smoke from the exhaust no doubt equally as good for your health. Takes off with a reasonable parp after that initial smoke screen. Lotus Elan+2 first reg 1st September 1968, 4,600 cc's according to DVLA????, although 1,557ccs was the standard Lotus Twin Cam cc for the model.

White MGA today hiding in a double garage. Too wet today no doubt for a little outing.
Very few MGA's are going to make it in the classsics under £10,000 thread....this example has an asking price of £23,250 on carandclassic.co.uk, could make it into the "nice pair" thread with the petrol truck though!
..and when the 1959 Thames Trader Tanker is not in black and white....it's red

James, what sort of unbelievable co-incidence is this? The MGA I spotted today was also a YUY registration (UY being originally a Worcester Registration)Hell Razor5543 wrote:I found another Jaguar at a different service station;

Re: Classic car spring/summer season 2016-What have you spotted?
Not too unusually for me it's a bus rather than a car...
While rummaging around in the garage today I heard the dulcit tones of something with a Gardner 6 series engine rumbling up the hill, so of course being me immediately launched myself out the door to investigate. Sure enough, a school trip was just leaving, and rather than the scruffy N plate Volvo Olympian that usually appears, instead it was a very tidy looking MCW Metrobus on an A plate. Surely can't be too many of them left in service these days.
Sounded lovely, and I almost wonder if it was actually a preserved vehicle that ended up getting dragged into service to fill in for another breakdown or something.

Now, of the three greens available for N-Reg SAAB 96's I think that one is Verona Green.CitroJim wrote:One for you Zel

Its definitely not opal green
and,the SAAB version of Olive Green is a shade too light as well, although it had a decent run on SAABs from 1965 to 1980
