LHM prices

Unread post by davoxx »

So I needed to buy some LHM after my stock had ran out, and was surprised to find it at 10 euro a litre.
I remember buying it last time for 6 euro a litre.

Is there a shortage and should I start stocking up again?
why?

Best I can find is around £8 a bottle for Total branded stuff. Morris is about £5 £7 or so a litre. If you can, use GSF as they have a 43% off weekend this weekend (JUNE43) which puts it to £25ish for 5 bottles if i remember right

Good thinking Steve. And Rolls Royce dealers may stock it too... No doubt at Rolls Royce prices though....

I've also found it used as a lubricant for the swashplate pump in a pressure washer, so it probably has a number of industrial applications.

Just watch the add on postage charges with some of these, almost the same postage for a litre as 5L!

Still also a Comma product, so widely available as that.
I had heard that all LHM is made by Total, and just brand-labelled for/by others.

Don't forget that Total Hydraurincage is also still a live product. It was "de-listed" by Total UK on their system a couple of years back ("low demand"), but we managed to get it reinstated, and orders placed for it (by Citroen counters, independents and others) will be fulfilled, brought over from France as needed. Use it or lose it!

GSF still stock it but at nearly £50!

Presumably that's for 5 litres, and that includes delivery.
In Spain, it's almost the same price as Total LHM.

Try here....£33.72....
