The red and blue are better than the green. I had a green S1 Activa for about a year , it was mint but the colour was a bit dull.

Yours is smart, I met it a few weeks ago at Jim's. If you really don't like silver vinyl isn't so expensive. I think it looks great myself and I like the cloth activa interior a lot.

Colours prity personal I guess. Xantia colours I don't really care for are white, light blue, red and gold. I've still had a gold and a red one anyway. All the other colours i can remember I like.

I've only ever purchased 3 brand new cars and chose the colours, a Montego in flame red, a rover 216 gti in British racing green and a picasso in wicked red. Red would be my choice.

I just think silver is a little boring colour. A bit too subdued for me. That maybe won't be a bad thing if I'm hooning about in it having a bit of fun! Won't stand out so much [emoji12] [emoji4]

I've been in yours Davie and seen it close up and it's one of the best colours for an Activa.

It is a nice car. I'm not saying I don't like it, just I prefer a darker colour. But the car that transformed me to citroen and onto this forum was silver! And is still the car I have owned the longest, ever!

If it has been 18 years ago and I was buying a spanking new xantia it would be between Mauritius Blue and the stickyjim red, whatever the correct name is. Then it would be close between the green and silver.

The blue is nice until it gets covered in stone chips as my blue HDi was after 220k miles!

That's the worst thing is darker colours. Our black 106 shows every chip and Mark on it, as did my c4

The picasso i bought new was wicked red. It showed up every scuff and chip on it. The good thing about silver is its easy to keep clean and the chips and scuffs dont show up the same.

I was told when I got some paint mixed it is not even that. Fecking French man mixed it from what was kicking around in some left over tins at the back of a spray shop I think :)
