I may even put a 5 inch back box, MAX POWER, DEMON TWEEKS stickers on it for a laugh and drive into the field set on Low :)

They do indeed, a very laid back meeting, always very pleasant except when the snow is coming in horizontally

Agreed - can't say the same for the other rallies though.

I might come along in my Berlingo with its none-standard black alloys and private plate then. Perhaps I can go for a cycle with Jim on the day !

I have to say, Eddie and Mr. Sticky et al, the spirit of CCC Rallies is changing. The Chevrons Rally is something that illustrates this - and with a new and vibrant Events team organising the 2016 Rally, hopefully the old idea of the Rallies being a Fusty-fest will soon be dispelled. The only way to improve the rallies - and to shake off the negative preconceptions is for you all to turn up in whatever Citroen you own - Any model, any age, any condition and any mods; all are welcome. The Club needs to, and will, move with the times.

The National will be fun: The venue is ideal, we've got a great band lined up for the BBQ evening on the Saturday, and with Practical Classics putting in an appearance as well as a few other treats in store (not to mention the fact we're expecting other Citroen clubs (TOC, 2CVGB, Specials, DS3, C2, AX etc) to come along plus the odd classic Panhard/Peugeot it'll be an important gathering...

Phil, that's excellent news on the outlook of the rallies :D

Sounds like the National is going to be absolutely excellent. Let's just hope the weather is ;)

This is true........
The National ..............was crap
The Chevrons Rally....was really good.

As I have always said I will turn up to support the club which I am a member of as I feel that is a duty, I will wait and see if the nationals improves on last year.

It will be an improvement. There's a lot of effort going into it, and the feeling is that, with the support of members (that's the important bit!) it'll be the 'New Beginning' we've been looking forward to.
