Just read the full story here. There were 2 built Peacemaker 1 in 1986, and the Peacemaker 2 in 2007. They are actual vehicles.

Peacemaker I- created out of a 1961 GM motorcoach and the upper section of a 1950 General American Aerocoach observation coach,
Peacemaker II -created out of a 1955 GMC Scenicruser, and a 1949 General American Aerocoach observation coach.

just doing a bit of research on this there are some fantastic looking old coaches and buses from America.

That was a late one too... Looks lovely in orangy-red and tartan! That must have been a special for the Jockinese market...

My mate at college had a D-reg one exactly like that back in 1989! Tartan interior, in bright red. We went all over the place in it. Almost rolled it once doing a handbrake turn in a car park in Haslingden. It did great burnouts too, though he had some explaining to do to his mum as to why the front tyres only lasted 2500 miles.

Ben, take it from me, a R4 is almost impossible to roll even though it looks like they'll roll at the least provocation...

I used to be able to corner so hard in mine I was almost scraping the sills on the tarmac!!!
