Is it fair to have a no visual clues whatsthisthen?

Post by Deanxm »

Yesterday i was made an offer to swap my XM for another car, the vehicle offered was of 1989 vintage and was produced by ford, i refused in a polite way but can anyone guess what it was with such poor clue's?

you can but neither are correct so in the interest of fairness here is a visual clue of the actual car in question more in line with the whatsthisthen rules

....er...always good to find out a bit extra about the whatsthisthen? cars but....probably more about the Ford Probe than you ever wanted to know. Ford had at least 5 "Probe Concept Cars" before they ended up with this as a production model.

The probe V Concept (1985) was the last of the bunch

....personal opinion of course.......yukk!

I liked the UK version of the Probe. I looked for a decent one to buy for a while but ended up with a Cougar instead. I like those too.

I like them too but I'd never swap a well sorted XM for one though...

Yes, I once swapped a 205GTi for an Activa

As much as I love the Activa I always regretted parting with the 205GTi :(

My cousin had a new probe many years ago, quite nice looking but I wouldn't swap an XM for it. When I had my first XM everything else I tried was rubbish in comparison.
